My boyfriend and I walked in and started just looking around at all the various dried fruits and beans, and local varieties of honey. When we circled to the food counter, the lovely owner (the husband of a husband-wife duo) was walking out from the kitchen with freshly made hummus. We had shawarma and kefta sandwiches, made to order. While waiting for our sandwiches the wife came out with fresh orzo salad, which we also ordered. The couple is wonderfully attentive, endearing and incredible cooks!! I'm going to make this a regular spot! ”
“ The couple that owns and operates this market are two of the most kind and genuine people. I love going in and talking to them and they treat you like family. They have been working together for over 40 years and you can taste the love in their food. They also make a lot of their foods that would normally have flour with potato flour so it's gluten free! They also grow their grape leaves on site so that's about as fresh as you could find anywhere! So yummy and you just cannot beat homemade. ”
